CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 Might Feature Driving/Flying Vehicles
-----------According to official job listings for CD Projekt Red, the upcoming action-RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will most likely feature flying vehicles.
According to a job posting on the CD Projekt Red website, the studio is looking for a Vehicle Gameplay Programmer with the ability to create the whole architecture of vehicle-related code, and the physics of driving/flying in those vehicles.
Even though the remaining position's listing doesn't describe what the developer specifically wants such system to look like or if they would work in the game in any other capacity, this is certainly a strong indication of Cyberpunk 2077 allowing fans to use some vehicles that can be driven and flown.
As a matter of fact, this isn't CD Projekt Red's first job posting that's related to vehicle creation in Cyberpunk 2077. The studio based in Poland is also searching for a Vehicle Gameplay Designer to make compelling vehicle-based AI systems. Additionally, CD Projekt Red is even hiring a Concept Designer to work with its Art and Animation departments to think up technical concepts for vehicles, machines, and weapons.
CD Projekt Red has stated earlier, however, that it won't share any news about Cyberpunk's actual contents until 2017, so there's no question that the studio is right now prepping itself to delve entirely into the development process for the upcoming role-playing game. Actually, it has listed more than 60 open positions on its careers website, with positions located at CD Projekt Red's headquarters in Warsaw, as well as Krakow.
Apart from the above mentioned CD Projekt Red's job listings, there's not much to be added as to indicate what Cyberpunk 2077 could contain in terms of in-game assets. Naturally, thanks to the title's trailer we are informed that it will be set in a dystopian future, but there are currently no specifics on its characters, plot, and world, much less details on most of its gameplay and combat features beyond its inclusion of multiplayer.
CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 has not received an official release date yet, but it's set to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
