DOOM's Ultra-Nightmare Mode Has Not Been Beaten
-----------The Ultra-Nightmare mode has Nightmare difficulty and permadeath.
In a new interview with IGN, DOOM's executive producer Marty Stratton and creative director Hugo Martin revealed that no one at Id Software has beaten the Ultra-Nightmare mode.
Ultra-Nightmare takes the second highest difficulty(Nightmare) and adds permadeath, which means that if you die you have to start over. Stratton also said that they could add a feature that allows friends compete on who gets further.
"When you die, it drops a helmet, a Doom marine helmet, in the world and your friends will see those and you'll see them," he explained. "So you can always try and get a little bit further than where you see that collection of helmets early in the game."
DOOM is scheduled for release on 13th of May for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
