Dead Rising Remaster Release Date Leaked

-----------
.....

According to new leak, the unconfirmed release date of Capcom's forthcoming Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record bundle is September 17.

The summer of Dead Rising began at E3 with the reveal of Dead Rising 4 for PC and Xbox One, or perhaps earlier than E3 considering its announcement was leaked. While keeping the summer spirit alive, another latest leak confirmed the release of remasters for Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. And as an icing on the cake, another leak appeared today: the remaster's release date.

The existence of the game isn't surprising anyone anymore, but the introduction of a release date is certainly a new detail. Potential buyers are going to be able to pick up the remasters starting September 17. The release information of the so-called Dead Rising Triple Pack was quickly removed, but it was online long enough for Game Informer to grab a screenshot and ask Capcom for comment directly.

Although, naturally, Capcom couldn't confirm the release date officially, the representative has responded with a surprisingly honest answer. They said that September 17 is actually a tentative release date for the Dead Rising Triple Pack, but it may be moved. For the time being, fans might have to wait until official announcement from Capcom is released. The representative noted that such announcement should be coming soon.

What's crucial is that whether a fan has played the classic Dead Rising titles or not, they'll now have the chance to do so prior to the launch of Dead Rising 4 in December. Assuming Dead Rising 4 will bring back the franchise's original protagonist, Frank West, restoring the fiction of his character from the first two games is important. Given the fact that both games will get remastered and look great on modern platforms is just a cherry on top.
