Fallout 4 Mod Patch Embraces 'Important' Changes

Bethesda officially revealed the content for Fallout 4's latest patch update. This includes mod-specific fixes and other 'important' changes.

A recent blog post had information that Bethesda officially released Fallout 4's 1.5.4 patch update for PC's and they said that the same patch will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week. AS expected, the Fallout 4 update contains fixes for bugs, glitches and optimization issues. Apart from that, it also brings improvements for mods, and some 'important' changes to weapon and armor racks that are contained in the Contraptions expansion, the first of three pieces of DLC added in the game during this summer.

Bethesda mentioned that there is another problem with Fallout 4 but this open world title's 1.5.4 update doesn't fix it. They said that the 'Add Ons' menu in the PC version is showing the upcoming DLC packages of Vault-Tec Workshop and Nuka-World as available, though they aren't available on the market yet. Bethesda said that everyone should rest assured as they are working on a solution for that problem.

Bethesda stated in a blog post that if fans of Fallout 4 want to be selected for the Closed Beta on PlayStation 4, they will have to download the 1.5.4 update right after it gets released next week. They haven't confirmed the exact date of the update though.

The mod program for PlayStation 4 has more problems than Xbox One does. The PlayStation 4 mod size limit is way smaller than the Xbox Ones', other than this, there is no file support for sound and then there are also the memory and performance problems. Even though these problems exist, Bethesda said that they will fix everything by the end of the month.

Meanwhile, they still have a lot of work cut out for them. With them having two massive projects , on the scale of both Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Taking all of this into consideration will tell us that fans will probably not hear much more about those projects until Bethesda is close to revealing them.
