Gargos Now Available In Killer Instinct
-----------Gargos, the demon warlord is now available in the Killer Instinct Season 3 roster, allowing players to take on the role of the franchise's main antagonist.
The demonic warlord, known as Gargos has finally made its way to the game's roster. By removing his iconic red skin for a more modern look, the Shadow Lord is one of the last existing roster characters from the old Killer Instinct titles to end up in the series reboot.
This fiery character arrives in the following 3.1.5 patch, which will address great number of balance issues, and a few wayward bugs. Gamers can see this muscular winger fighter on the trailer below, which reveals his backstory and begins invading in order to end all invasions. The Shadow Lord, a self-proclaimed God is so far one of the most significant roster additions, which includes a good amount of irony in the newer Shadow Labs feature.
Gargos has been shown off a month earlier by developer Iron Galaxy, and decided to give livestream viewers a glimpse of the character in action during its half-hour long streaming session. The warlord has been initially confirmed throughout the Season 3 launch trailer, alongside veterans of other series like Kim Wu.
Following the addition, several other guest characters from popular Microsoft-based series will jump in as well, like Arbiter from the Halo franchise and Rash from Battletoad. The previous releases have done a great job blending in the current Killer Instinct roster, which feels like General Raam is going to do the same amidst the likes of Gargos and Riptor.
Unlike the long awaited Gargos addition, June and July's new characters will not receive any teaser videos or hints, so it looks like players are going to be kept in the dark until those characters are revealed and later added into the roster.
