New Titanfall 2 Single Player Trailer Released

-----------
.....

Respawn Entertainment brings and early look at Titanfall 2's single player campaign with a cinematic trailer that features the role of pilot and Titan.

Those who are acquainted with Titanfall and its in-game universe won't find much new material in the trailer, as it serves more as a reintroduction to the basic premise in the Titanfall universe.

There's a battle between two factions, the IFC and Militia, and at the center of this struggle is the fight between the ultimate soldiers - pilots - and their weapons/partners in crime - Titans. It's a great story for a shooter with rapid action and giant robots, but a touch missing in single player details.

At the end of the trailer there's a bit more reference to what might be the start of Titanfall 2's single player campaign. The trailer's narrator speaks about how they are not yet a pilot, but that they hope to eventually achieve that skill level. It's quite easy to imagine Titanfall 2's story starting with the protagonist being without a Titan, then getting one by either doing achievements as a grunt soldier through necessity after another pilot dies.

This isn't the first single player trailer Respawn has released for Titanfall 2. The trailer that was previously released was a fragmented look at several scenes from inside the campaign. Couple of those scenes, considering the ones from this latest trailer, can be given an extra content. For example, the player stands over a hand-made grave, looking longingly at a pilot's helmet before putting it on his head. That scene may pretty much imply our protagonist receives his pilot armor and Titan through the death of a compatriot.

Titanfall 2's early impressions of the single player have also been dropping recently, with many talking about how the game goes above and beyond the expectations of AAA single player shooter campaigns. To Titanfall players experienced in multiplayer, pilot platforming won't be much of a surprise, but shows how Respawn is looking outside of the FPS box for ways to show off Titanfall 2's single player.

Titanfall 2 will launch on October 28 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
