Overwatch's Ana Now Available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

.....

Blizzard released the newest hero in Overwatch, support sniper Ana, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One couple of days after her addition via a patch on PC.

Overwatch's first post-launch hero was added to the roster a few days ago with the release of support sniper Ana on PC. Ana was firstly revealed last week together with an origins trailer that showed her connections to few other characters, including her daughter, Pharah, and archenemy, Widowmaker.

Blizzard has now released the new Overwatch hero on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, followed by a promise from the developer to attempt to release updates on both PC and consoles within the same time frame. Earlier, couple of gamers reported some issues and bugs with the patch, but those issues are not present anymore, and Ana is now ready to be played in all modes across across all platforms.

For those unfamiliar with Ana's roll, she's a sniper who should stay at range from other characters most of the time, but the similarities with Widowmaker end there. Ana can buff and heal her party at long range while also stopping her enemies from healing. An ability such as sleep dart can temporarily tranquilize her opponents. Ana's ultimate is called Nano Boost and is used on one of her teammates to supercharge them for a short amount of time.

For Sony fans, the release of Ana comes at just the right time on PlayStation 4, as some players were frustrated this past week because of a bug that caused some players to lose their skins and other progress in the game. Thankfully, though, Blizzard has resolved this problem with swift efficiency.

With Ana now available across all platforms, the attention of the fans now turns to what might be next for Blizzard's popular FPS. Some players are going through Ana's reveal trailer to search for Easter eggs that might be teasing upcoming heroes.

Overwatch is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
