Rockstar Dismisses GTA 5 PC Delay Reports
-----------Fall 2014 release date "has not changed," Rockstar says.
Following recent report suggesting that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been delayed or canceled for PC, Rockstar issued an official response.
"I'm also looking forward to the PC release," the representative said in a reply to a fan who asked if the PC version of GTA V had been delayed. "However, this release date has not changed."
Officially, GTA 5 is scheduled to launch this fall for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The actual release date might be November 18, according to numerous listings by retailers. Newegg even claim that the game will hit next-gen and PC platforms on November 18 in North America, which is the standard release day of Tuesday.
Grand Theft Auto 5 was officially released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September last year. It generated over $1 billion revenue in 72 hours, and has shipped over 34 million copies.
