The Black Market Introduced to Titanfall
-----------In-game currency can be used to buy Burn Cards and Titan Insignias, microtransactions still not happening.
A new update for Titanfall will introduce the Black Market, where players can access additional customization options for your Titan alongside the game-changing Burn Cards.
The Burn Cards will be sold in packs, with each one focused on a a specific theme to enable you to choose what type you need. XP boost, Pilot and Titan advantages are mentioned, with the players choosing which cards suit their play style.
Credits needed to buy these packs can be earned by winning matches, completing a match and having your first victory of the day. Completing daily challenges and selling unwanted burn cards can also be a source of credits. Additionally, once you hit level 50 a percentage of earned XP will be converted to credits.
The Black Market is available to all players when they hit level 11 and have opened the Burn Card menu. Designer David Shaver dismissed all fears of microtransactions as the studio will never introduce them and the only way to obtain credits will be by playing the game.
