Xbox Games Playable on PC?
-----------Microsoft may be working on a streaming service with minimal lag.
Xbox One and Xbox 360 games may soon be played on PC, a new report suggests.
The games would be played in player's browsers, with almost 60 FPS. The same service would run the Xbox 360 dashboard in players' browsers. Microsoft might come across some obstacles to overcome in the licensing area, as this service could cut into publishers' PC game sales.
Microsoft has been working on a research project called Outatime, which uses Doom 3 and Fable III for cloud gaming. It was pointed out, that this could allow Microsoft to compete directly with PlayStation Now, Sony's streaming service that is still in beta as of now.
Microsoft has yet to confirm whether the streaming project is, indeed, in development or not.
