Xbox One Price Reduced
-----------Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg said the console has "bright future."
Following Microsoft's surprise announcement today of a $50 price cut for all Xbox One systems. Company executive Aaron Greenberg says that the price cut, new big games and new IP's will help build a "bright future" for the console.
"We have the best games, exclusives, and new IP," Greenberg said to a fan on Twitter, reiterating Microsoft's stance on the appeal of the Xbox One. "A bright future ahead for sure!"
The $50 off deal will begin this Sunday, November 2. The price cut for the first time since release will make the Xbox One cheaper than its rival console PlayStation 4, which sells for $400.
For now the PlayStation 4 is the king of the current-generation consoles with more than 10 million systems sold as of August 2014. Microsoft has yet to reveal the numbers for the Xbox One, but it is believed that they are almost 5 million units.
