Batman: Arkham Knight - Game of the Year Edition Arrives This Summer.

Arkham Knight GOTY is announced for this summer, or July more specifically. So, anyone who's planinning on getting right into the remastered Arkham Knight is in luck.

This Game of the Year addition of Batman: Arkham Knight will launch for Xbox One and PS4. The supposed date is July 28. A Game of the Year addition for Batman Arkham Knight has been kind of confirmed by a listing on the German version of Amazon.

If the title is accurate, Arkham Knight Game of the Year should launch with all DLCs which include the Batgirl expansion of the game. The DLCs will allow players access to a bunch of new villains that will terrorize Gotham. A number of skins for Batman and the Batmobile will be also included in the Game of the Year addition to the game. The recent Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice skin will also be in the pack.

Asuming the German Amazon's listing is true, that means that Batman: Arkham Knight Game of the Year will launch only two days after Batman: Arkham Knight remastered. There are good news for those players who will be using the remastered titles as they will be able to pick up their copies of the Arkham Knight Game of the Year edition with Return to Arkham sometime next month.

It should be pointed out that Warner Bros haven't made any announcement for a Game of the Year addition for Batman: Arkham Knight. This means that this "reveal" should be taken with a pinch of disbelief. Although, Return to Arkham was announced in the same way, so, anything is possible.

It should be noted that Arkham Knight has made a bunch of lists of "5 Most Disappointing Games of 2015," but this was due to the horrible PC port which rendered the game beyond useless for PC players. Console players on the other hand had an amazing experience with the game, though this doesn't even begin to make up for the fact that Warner Bros knew about the horrific PC port and did nothing to make it better.

Batman: Arkham Knight Game of the Year edition will give PC gamers a possibility to give the game another chance, as long as they have an Xbox One or PS4 console. The modding community for Batman Arkham Knight will be highly disappointed as mods aren't implemented in the consoles yet.
