New Battlefield Teaser Video Released

As announced a few days ago, Electronic Arts will be talking about the new chapter in the Battlefield series on EA's official Twitch channel.

Battlefield and Battlefront developers have one more surprise coming up tomorrow and that's the reveal of the new iteration of Battlefield franchise. According to the currently available info, new rumored Battlefield will take virtual warfare during the First World War, and it's possible to jump with it's story to the second. Informations spread on the internet today that EA could present an alternative history but, as of yet,  no concrete evidence exist for such a claim. 

The video features a young man with a face covered with dirt and sweat, looking upwards in awe as something clearly blocks his view, covering him in shadow. He seems military, judging from the haricut, clothes and his state of disarray.

Rumors about the new Battlefield continue on the internet as the players predict the traditional World War 1 story will be introduced. This setting would be appropriate for the teaser with the soldier looking at what appears to be a sky vessel of some sort. Other speculations are convinced of a sci-fi or future-like setting  that also fits this teaser.

DICE has once again managed to achieve a new level of graphics fidelity with the much known Frostbite engine. The graphics in the teaser are in no way a gameplay, rather an in-engine cinematics.

Back in January, EA confirmed Battlefield 5 was slated for a holiday 2016 release and previous comments from the firm said it would be “a return to a Battlefield military-style game.” The next Battlefield will be announced tomorrow, May 5, at 4:00 PM EDT.

As a celebration to the announcement, EA made Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline DLC free on Origin, PlayStation and Xbox consoles through May 10. DLC's will consist of the Dragon's Teeth and Robbery stories.
